cheshire cat or mad hatter outfit ideas please help!!?

ok so my freind is having a alice in wonderland themed sweet 16 and i want to either be the cheshire cat or the mad hatter but i dont want any of those lame Halloween costumes so i need help figuring out what kinda clothes to put together to make me look as close to these characters as possible. so any costume ideas would be a great help

for cheshire cat… hmm….. maybe get a light pink and dark pink striped shirt (or make one) and then get pink skinny jeans. top it off with a pink head band with cat ears on it (easy to make), a pink tail (somehow put it on your jeans.. maybe tuck it in your jeans… use possibly an arm off a pink long sleeve shirt), and pink flats! also make whiskers on your face with black face make-up [eye liner would work!].

for the mad hatter[not to familiar with him]: get a big top hat, and glue some cards onto it. then get a yellow or green suit jacket top(doesnt matter whats under it) then wear black skinny jeans, with any color flats(yellow or green [to match the jacket] would look adorable!)
