I think that some of these comments are very mean. His owner clearly loved him very much and he loved her back. I’ve watched the other youtubes on Caplin. Access to a swimming pool and a home, lots of cuddles. He seems to have had a wonderful life.
Oh Caplin, you make me so happy! I hope you people just roll your eyes all all the dummies commenting on here! People like to watch but not read and come to their own conclusions and for some reason think that if they have never seen an animal as a pet then it shouldn’t be allowed as a pet. Oh well, I know from your blog and all your videos that that is one happy ROUS!

Lol, are you people serious? Haha, this isn’t cruel! It’s just an owner having fun with their pet. The capybara is in no way being harmed, and it’s probably fine for it to eat the blueberry popsicle, it’s a rodent, they can eat anything. I’m sure she’s done her research and knows what kinds of foods are safe to feed it. Lol I’ve seen some strange videos on youtube, and this one is right up there, but it is in no way wrong or cruel.
Never has a giant rodent with a silly alien head band and sparkly tie looked so dignified while eating a frozen yogurt popsicle.
