How do you feel about people who DON’T dress up for Halloween?
I can’t really afford to dress up in a costume this year bc I was layed off a few months ago. I am going to look very nice — I plan on curling my hair, doing my makeup really nicely, and wearing some Halloween earrings. However, all of my friends are disappointed that I’m not actually dressing up. They say I should at least buy a witch’s hat or some cat ears or something, but I don’t want to look cheap, either.
How do you all feel about people who don’t dress up in costume at a party?
I am in the UK and this whole dressing up thing seems to be American Why dress up for Hallowen? Tell them you can’t afford it and it is pathetic commercialism for the tacky businesses there to make yet more profits out of making a british Pagan fesival into some kind of American joke
