I have a boyfriend. Should I dress up for Halloween or save the money…?

I'm 19 years old and in college and my boyfriend is 26 and in grad school. We're going to Great America for Halloween. Last year I felt kinda sad because like every other girl had cute/sexy costumes and I didn't and my boyfriend told me about the sexy girls he saw. 
I feel like I should dress up, but it's such a one-time use...
And I'm 4'11", 00, with big boobs/butt so it's hard to find one to rent or something in my size.
I was thinking of wearing this to an anime convention, but don't know who to modify it to. :/
