Understanding Your Cat: Cat Language Council

We like to think of our cats like our skin, children, although you can not really talk about us. Or not? Cats can not talk to us, but can communicate through body language. Did you know that if your cat wags its tail, is not a sign of happiness – which is really annoying?

Here are some clues little body language to help us find out what cats are telling us …

Quiet and content:

Cats are in a calm mood and happy to keep their ears alert and resentment. Its tail is being held in serious or relaxed. If your cat is really relaxed, she looks at him with eyes half closed. If flaps its eyes on you, it means that trusts you and feels safe. Another way to know if your cat is happy if she kneaded his legs.

If your cat is on your side or back and exposes her belly, she knows she is happy, and would not mind if you have come to give a little love. Often, this means that you are asked to rub his belly. But beware – as all cats belly rub. Those will know soon grabbing his hand and give a quick snack.

Glad to see:

When your cat is happy to see you, greets you with the tail held up. She rubs her face against you, using the scent glands on the forehead, chin and mustache "mark" as part of its territory. They may also purr, but surprisingly, purring is not always a sign that your cat is happy.

Why cats purr, anyway?

Kittens are able to purr when they are two days old. That way they communicate with their mothers. As cats age, they continue to purr to indicate happiness. But did you know that cats also purr when they are sick or anxious? Some experts believe the animals is a form of self-consolation as when a person coughs to avoid the nerves. Cats also purr to show their presentation to another cat, or to indicate friendship.

Hunting, curious and playful:

When your cat in the harassment or hunting mode, who will present his body to the ground. It will keep its tail down, while stirring tip. Just before she was about to jump, he could move the buttocks.

If your cat is a bit curious about something, she will hold her tail at half mast and little little pass from left to right. A vertical tail curved to one side or place a question mark "means excited her pussy, and could be ready to play.

Something like:

You know when your cat wants something from you – whether food, affection or fresh garbage – when you look at the legs of his body. Some cats even do a little hop as they rub their legs. Kitty is the language of "Hey, you there! Need something down here!"

Irritated

It is easy to tell when a cat starts to get excited. When your cat or more than enough for children, which fly the end of its tail forward and ago. When is really bored, it will whip its tail back and forth. If it blows the tail, watch out! She is really annoying. Grunting and you slide its legs are also the result of serious problems for Kitty.

Fear and aggression:

When your cat is afraid, she tries to make it look small. It borders with its tail around its body and hips into a ball before retreating. Will be put in their ears back and their students expands.

If she is afraid, but on the defensive, gets naked and shows her teeth her legs, as it faces the threat in a lateral position.

aggressive cats seem to "Halloween cats." Try to look like fear and intimidation as possible, arching his back and smoking to the skin over your hairs tip and tail. This is called piloerection. Your cat also removed his mustache with his paw raised and ready to Swat, while its tail bend-tabs from left to right.

Wheezing is a clear sign of a fearful or aggressive cat. If she is willing to bite, show your teeth, and warn of grunts.

Although these behaviors in general should help decipher what your cat is thinking, each cat is an individual with their own personal nuances and body language. Take time to understand what your cat is really trying to say deepen their relationship with others.
