Halloween Cat In Window

Should I hide my black cat for Halloween?
I have a pure black cat we have received as a stray dog last Halloween, because that teenagers have taken to his mother (who was born on Halloween) and beaten and left to die in our neighborhood, we picked him up. They were all nervous that he could escape Halloween the same thing happen again, because I love running outdoors, even if it is an indoor cat. I have also heard some stories where people have broken into the houses because he saw a black cat in a house and that made me think. If we keep our black cat away from windows during Halloween?
I would not be locked in a room in the house with food, water and bedding for the night. It will prevent him from sneaking out the door, especially if you're handing out candy. People crazy and sick, and there are many people who hate cats, and a black cat on Halloween is a particularly good target. Playing everything you need to ensure that it is unable to go out then. If you are alone in the house that night, I would still be locked in a room, perhaps with curtains or blinds / etc closed. I doubt that anyone can enter, Unless you live in a bad district, but it is safer yet. Good luck and we're all happy that you are concerned about the safety of your cat.
