Halloween Cat On Fence
How should I carve my pumpkins this year?
Last year I did Jack Skellington (with a white pumpkin), and “pumpkin pi” (Pi symbol with a fork stuck in it). All the trick or treaters loved Jack–especially the older kids & the younger kids parents–but I don’t think many of them really understood the other. 
The year before last I did a graveyard scene…ghosts, tombstones, stars, moon, etc. and a cat sitting on a fence with the glow of the full moon behind her (the cat & fence was carved from pumpkin, the moon was a big empty circle where the light shone through).
Since Halloween’s on a Saturday this year, I won’t be home for the kids, but I love Halloween to bits so I couldn’t go without carving some pumpkins. I’m gonna take ‘em to my mom’s house.
Anyone have any creative ideas?
