Halloween Poem I wrote at the request of my younger sister? what do you think of it?
On this All Hallows Eve Night
Be prepared you’re in for a fright
With only the full moon’s light
Go out trick-or-treating if you dare
But you’ve been warned to beware
You’re in for quite a scare
Ghouls and goblins, witches and vampires too
Are coming out to haunt you
Don’t be surprised if a ghost says boo
I’m sure he’s friendly and fun
But if you see a black cat you should run
As the moon gets low the night will soon be done
So as witches take flight in the sky
Run home to mom and dad but don’t cry
For tears may bring a werewolf who can fly
Goodnight and sweet dreams
Sleep tight on All Hallows Eve
Remember it’s wise to believe
And don’t point out that werewolves don’t fly I already know this okay.
very good. maybe just make the rhyme a little more consistent. make sure the syllables line up. but very good. I could see it being a children’s book
