Making a Lolita skirt?
For all the Lolitas out there, do you think making a Lolita skirt using a costume pattern is a good idea?
My moms friend got her these really cute patterns for Halloween. There’s one for Litttle Bo Peep and Alice in Wonderland, as well as a really cute Hansel and Gretel. If I just made the skirt a little longer, do you think it could work for Loli? I was looking at the pattern measurements, and I’m pretty sure a petticoat could fit under them.
Oh yeah, don’t answer if you think Lolita is for pedos or is a “sexy” fashion.
I don’t dress lolita all the time, but I do have a few lolita outfits I like to don when I’m not working.
A good general idea to stick to is basically a bell skirt that’s around knee length with a petticoat. It doesn’t matter if the pattern is technically for a costume since you get to choose the fabric and adornments for the skirt, and you control the quality of your finished product. So I would assume it would be fine.
