Halloween Make Up Help! thanks?
My company is throwing a halloween costume party this year and we all have to dress up! i already have a costume idea i want to be Cleopatra! or an Egyptian Princess! the only thing is i need to learn how to make my eyes look just like one! i have the stuff but not the 100% excellent skills. Do You know of any websites that can help explain on how to apply makeup to get the Kitty Cat Eyes or the egyptian eyes! i would greatly appreciate the help
The egyptians used khol to line around their eyes to help cut down sun glare in addition to appearance. Get a grey/black eyeshadow, then a small flat brush. Use the edge of the brush to draw a line all the way from the inner corner to the outer, but do not round the corners off. Do the same for the upper lid. Smudge your finger from the cornre sweeping outwards for both lines. This gives you the extended lash line, also the heavier line the used. Experiment a few times beforehand to find the best line for you. I use shadow because it smudges much more smoothly and you have more colors to choose from. Line the inside of you eye with a darker pencil as well. See if you get a look at some old photos of liz taylor as Cleopatra for a good look. Be sure to have moisturizer under the shadow so it stays on better.
