Are clothing and costumes for animals a form of abuse??
I was watching a programme today which showed a pet boutique selling outfits for pooches!!
The clothing ranged from Gangster to Chav and then to beachwear including bikinis……………. for Dogs!!
I can just about tolerate a yorkshire terrior having a silly ponytail shoved on it’s head but to dress a dog in clothing all day?…………..
Is this abuse or just another fashion accessory??
I think its creepy, like chimps in clothes. It creeps me out. The people who own them don’t want a dog or a chimp, and don’t have any respect for what they are. I don’t trust people who do that kind of thing! They must have more money than sense.
I used to put a waterproof coat on my dog to prevent him getting rheumatism. But it wasn’t a fashion accessory.
