Collection and collection When enough is enough
In the beginning …
For 40 years, I have collected and my passion started with my mother, who had an antique shop in our home. I picked up boxes, copper objects, snow globes, African art, American Native Arts buildings and, more recently, just remember Mattes.
If you are a collector, you're still a collector. Our collections can change over time and leave us a collection in search of another, if our eyes in the rear view window in search of additions to the collections that we have left behind. But the question age has always been, when complete and how we know it.
Because each type of collection is a "Holy Grail", I know what I mean … one piece if you can find a camper die tomorrow "happy." My most recent faith holy grail to find a 1930 Chrysler building memories. He could find all the Empire State Building, Eiffel Towers and play it a lot of World Trade Centers, but the jewel of Art Deco architecture, the Chrysler Building could not be find. Ever antique shop, flea markets, garage sale I went, I looked up and down in the hope that shiny silver boom "shortly" pricked in the plastic dolls, Tonka trucks torn and dirty sheets … but it was not. I tried to eBay after seeing his TV ad that shows hundreds Rare Vintage Corvettes on a street, and I'm sure I'll be there again and again without luck.
