I think the answer is both! First, based on the costume and purpose. If it is for the benefit of the animal (eg, short hair taken from a climate warm to cold or vice versa), could be beneficial. But the animal side, most animal experts say is a bad idea. First, it is not normal and are not human beings, on the other natural resources can cause the body to the pet animal if it becomes dependent on foreign objects instead of their natural resources do so.
