Pet Halloween Contest

Halloween Costume for my pet rat?
Okay, well there is this Halloween costume contest going on for pets and I am going to enter my dog but rodents are allowed too, so I think I am gonna enter my rat too. I need costume ideas that I can make. Any ideas for my rat? I would appreciate it a lot,I have a tan hooded female rat named Honey
Many rat-keepers seem to be good with the sewing machine and the ability to work with tiny pieces of material. I’m not one of them. Halloween and Christmas seems to be the times of the year that brings out the most imaginative costumes.
Do these photos give you any ideas?

More ideas off the top of my head:
With some modification you might even find some Barbie- style clothing for her.
You dress in a rat costume and put doll diaper on her. You are mama rat and she’s your baby.
Because rats are dog-like there’s no reason why you can’t have fun with your rats and put them in custumes every once in awhile, even if it’s only for a few minutes. No harm cames to rats wearing these costumes, they don’t chew their clothes to pieces because they are supervized.
When taking your rat out in public do not let her interact with other rats to avoid spreading disease. Take along a comfy carrying cage where she can relax and chill out when she’s not on display, and don’t leave her away from the comforts of home for more then a couple of hours to avoid getting her overly stressed. If your party is outside be aware of predatory birds, like owls, swooping down and snatching her off your shoulder.
And for goodness sake, have fun.
