Why my cats never do anything like those youtube cats do?

I bought them a "Dorothy" The Wizard of Oz and the Dark Knight Batman pet costume, they refused to wear them. I was hoping to film them for the AFV (American Funniest Video) or youtube or just a simple. cute photo. But they never let me do it. I still love them, though. I go out and work for my cats everyday. I feel like I am being used. Am I being used by my cats to get them foods? Do your cats do that sometimes?
Haa Ha Shannon.. You do take life too seriously. (BTW : I didn’t buy them. In fact, I have never bought any life, I adopted them).

I’d be lying if I said I didn’t use my cats for relaxation, even if they don’t realize it, so at least my cats and I are even on that not, haha

Cats are harder to train than dogs. Most dogs work on reward and punishment, but cats work on trying to do things for themselves. Cats can be trained (it is hard, and has to start at a very young age), and some dogs can be harder to train than others.

If you stopped feeding the cats and they found another reliable source of food, they would assume that you no longer love them and that their new provider does. Cats may not always do what we want them to, but if we show them that we really care, they’ll care for us. Just go on Youtube or watch the news or Animal Planet for examples of cats saving the lives of their owners. So no, your cats aren’t using you, they are just biding their time until they find their chance to reward you for your love.

Being that they could end up saving your life, you should consider how you would feel if they tried to get you to dress up in what you would consider an embarrassing outfit. It’s probably not that they don’t want the costumes because they consider it embarrassing (cats do embarrassing things all the time), it’s probably just that the costumes are uncomfortable, or that you have to handle them more than they are comfortable with to get the costumes on.

That’s just what cats do. It’s like this:

Cats: Rarely do cute things, but when they do, it’s really cute.
Dogs: Often do cute things, but when they do, it’s only pretty cute.

If I tried to put a costume on any of my four cats, I’d end up in the emergency ward bleeding from several deep wounds. Forget Youtube cats and let your cats be cats. Your cats love you and be happy with that.

I don’t see how a cat refused to wear a costume, they don’t really have a say and most likely the cats on youtube were just forced to put the costumes on and they naturally look cute, don’t dress your cats up anyway, it may be cute but how would you like it if you were made to dress up in Dorothy and dark night costumes without a say. How can you say you are being used? A cat is a pet, you bought them you’re not going to stop feeding them because they won’t wear costumes, this question is actually really stupid.. how the hell can cats use you.

Because your cats are liberal enough to not pretend to be something they’re not.
I heard people say the same thing about cats. They are truely liberal.
So what appeared on youtube could be fake…

You’re not being used. You are just another slave of your love…
(Isn’t that the whole process of adopting pets all about, feeding them?)

    น้าลิงเคยสอนให้มันทำตามคำสั่งแบบไหนบ้าง ก่อนจะซื้อชุดให้พวกมัน เคยถามมันมั้ยว่ามันชอบรึเปล่า …. เหอ เหอ… ^_^

I know this is for giggles but I can’t help myself.

You can desensitize the cats to the costume and get them to actually LIKE being in them.

I feel dirty changing the cats POV on it haha but y’know….
